[PROMOTION] Daniel Duart tests the new HX50 Digital compact camera from Sony with 30x optical zoom. [00:01:39]

Description: The new HX50 digital compact camera from Sony might be the smallest camera to feature 30x optical zoom, but it delivers professional photos that are big on quality. Whether travelling round-the-world or just round-the-corner, it's the perfect travelling companion packing a long-distance optical zoom with G lens into a tiny, pocket-sized case.

In this video Spanish photographer Daniel Duart, who was runner-up in the Sony World Photography Awards 'travel' category, spent 24 hours shooting aspects of London with the HX50's incredible zoom. Daniel used the eye-popping 20.4MP, ultra-quality Exmor R™ CMOS sensor, powerful BIONZ processor and Optical Steadyshot to capture vibrant photos and faraway detail while on the move -- focusing on subjects in just 0.1 seconds. When he finished, it was easy to share shots with friends and family (and us!) using the camera's built-in Wi-Fi.

Daniel could let the camera do the work or take control with the manual EV dial for precise exposure values, plus aperture and shutter priority. He also added a flash on the Multi Interface Shoe, an electronic viewfinder and microphone too. Finally, the new long-life battery allowed him to keep shooting all day -- even using HD video.
